The Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-901) certification validates foundational AI knowledge and hands-on Microsoft Foundry skills on Azure.

  • Format: concept questions (40-45%) + hands-on Microsoft Foundry implementation (55-60%)

  • Duration: 45 minutes
  • Exam fee: $99 - covered by KOICA, up to two attempts
  • Passing score: 700 / 1000 points
  • Exam rounds: Round 1 week of October 19 · Round 2 week of November 23, 2026 (dates TBA)
